Coach Best is excited to join the Wildcats as the Junior Varsity coach for the baseball program. This is Coach Best’s 3rd year in Prosper ISD and first year with the Wildcats, after previously working at Prosper High School as their Freshmen coach. Before Prosper, Coach Best worked in sales for 3 years. Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in others’ lives, he transitioned to teaching and coaching.

Coach Best is originally from Washington State. As a Mark Morris Monarch, he received Honorable Mention, 2nd Team All-Area, and First Team All-District honors in his High School playing career. After high school, Coach Best attended Eastern Washington University before transferring to Oregon State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications

Coach Best and his wife Rachel live in Prosper with their son Matthew and are expecting their second child this summer! In his free time, he enjoys golfing and spending quality time with his family.
